| C’est le film événement de Noël 2014 au Japon, pour la franchise la plus populaire du moment auprès des jeunes. Le film, comme l’anime et les jeux vidéos sur 3DS, réunit les ingrédients de séries mythiques telles que Doraemon ou Pokemon, et ça marche super bien ! Ajoutez à ça la mascotte Kumamon, beaucoup d’humour pour enfant et une médaille exclusive à collectionner, et vous obtenez un énorme succès au cinéma, avec déjà la promesse d’un prochain film à venir ! Voici un petit tour des références qui, pour moi, faisaient tout : | This is *the* 2014 Christmas movie in Japan! Adapted from the most popular franchise of the moment for kids. The movie, like the animated series and video games on 3DS, brings together ingredients from many legendary series, such as Doraemon and Pokemon. And the result is just great! Add the Kumamon mascot, great humor for children and an exclusive collectible medal to the cocktail, and you obtain a huge hit in theaters! The success is so overwhelming that a second movie has already been announced! Here is an overview of these references that really made my day: |
Totoro
| Ah ce cher Totoro endormi qui ronfle et éternue à grand souffle sur la petite Mei ! Dans Yōkai watch, l’histoire commence avec un immense chat bien dodu qui, lorsque Keita le découvre, pousse un grand souffle à en faire rouler en arrière le petit garçon. Effet attendrissant immédiat ^__^ | Oh, dear Totoro, who snores and sneezes with a great breath on the little Mei… Youkai Watch pays a tribute to you, thanks to a huge plump cat which makes Keita, the main character of the story, roll back in a big breath. This makes you melt instantaneously ^__^ |
Doraemon
| Pour résoudre le grand problème de notre époque, il n’y a sortir de sa poche une Time machine. Oui Doraemon a toujours la machine appropriée dans sa poche, et c’est aussi le cas de Furuinyan ! Doraemon est d’ailleurs explicitement cité, la référence assumée n’en est que plus drôle ^^ | To solve the problem in our timeline, what other way than a time travel thanks to a machine that one of the characters takes in one of his pockets. Yes, this reminds Doraemon, who always has the right machine in his stomach pocket. And this is also the case for Furuinyan! Doraemon is even explicitly mentioned! The fact that the reference is fully assumed makes it sound even more funny ^^ |
Dragon ball Z
| La fusion de Son Gokû et de Vegeta se retrouve matérialisé en la fusion improbable de Whisper et Jibanyan. Mais ce qui m’a fait rire, c’est l’appel au genki dama non pas par télépathie mais hurlé du haut de la colline. | The fusion of Goku and Vegeta finds some kind of new materialization with unlikely fusion of Whisper and Jibanyan. But what made me laugh is the genki dama-like attack, which is summoned not by telepathy but by screaming from the top of the hill. |
Naruto
| Naruto ou n’importe quel shônen avec une bataille finale épique contre un monstre géant ^o^ Juste que c’est la diffusion en ce moment de la fin de l’anime de Naruto Shippûden alors les géants ça m’y fait tout de suite penser. Quoi que PreCure aussi a son lot de géants ces derniers temps. | Naruto or any shounen always finished with an epic final battle against a giant monster ^o^ In fact, it made me think of Naruto simply because the end of the Naruto Shippuden anime is currently broadcasted in Japan. But other series, like the PreCure series, recently had its share of giants. |
Ranma 1/2
| Là c’est parce que l’attaque spéciale Surudoi Tsume de Jibanyan est le Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken de Ranma ^o^ J’ai beaucoup aimé qu’ils aient l’intitulé de l’attaque au mot pour le film, rendant Buchinyan vraiment kakkoi et le final passionnant ! | For this reference, it is due to the fact that Jibanyan’s special attack Surudoi Tsume comes from Ranma’s Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken ^o^ I really loved that they gave the same name to the the attack in the movie, making Buchinyan really kakkoi and the final more exciting! |
Star Wars
| Le vieux maître Yoda révèle, au moment critique, qu’il faut utiliser la « Force », avec une sorte de tube bleu fluo. « Force » prononcé à la japonaise est source de plaisanterie, c’est tellement simple et vrai que c’en drôle !! Quant au sabre laser, il se révèle réellement utile bien que ce ne soit, après mûres réflexions, qu’un… tuyau d’arrosage ^o^ | The old master Yoda reveals at the critical moment that one has to use the « Force », a sort of bright blue tube. « Force », pronounced in the Japanese way of enunciating it it, is a source of jokes: it is so simple and true that it really is funny!! As for the lightsaber, it reveals to be really useful… even though it is, after much thought, just a garden hose ^o^ |
Pokemon
| Attrapez-les tous et devenez amis avec vos compagnons qui combattrons pour vous tout en étant mignon à croquer. Il n’y a que Level 5 pour transformer les monstres de folklores japonais en monstre de poche. La formule a un succès si fulgurant qu’on dit volontiers à la TV que Yōkai watch est plus populaire que Pokemon. Est-ce que ce sera aussi le cas à l’international ? En tout cas le phénomène est plaisant, surtout ciblé pour les enfants (la médaille Darknyan au cinéma n’était que pour eux), et le film vraiment amusant pour tout public. Dans la salle, tout le monde a beaucoup ri et fini par danser ^__^ | Catch them all and become friends with your companions who will fight for you, while being over-cute… Only Level 5 was able to turn Japanese folklore monsters into some kind of pocket monsters. The formula has raised such a huge and fast success that, now, some media pretend that Youkai Watch is more popular than Pokemon. Will it also be the case on the international market? In any case, the phenomenon is pleasant, especially targeted for children (at the theater, they were the only ones who were given the exclusive medal of the movie), but and really fun for all age groups. In the movie theater, everyone laughed a lot and ended up dancing ^__^ |
