Adorable concert Disney pour le printemps, avec en tête d’affiche May J., Shōko Nakagawa et Kōichi Yamadera, au magnifique Tokyo International Forum. La principale partie s’est ouverte sur « Let it go » de Frozen (La reine des neiges), et refermée sur « Arino mama de » – « Let it go » version japonaise. Pour ce final, toute la salle a été entraînée par le coach vocal de May J., c’était vraiment intéressant et très drôle ! Stretch physique, stretch vocal en mode gorille, entraînement d’expression faciale en mode overreaction. C’est ainsi préparés que nous avons chanté unis tous ensemble, c’était émouvant ! |

Adorable Disney concert for Spring, headlined by May J., Shōko Nakagawa and Kōichi Yamadera, in the gorgeous venue of Tokyo International Forum. The main part began with « Let it go » from Frozen, and closed on « Arino mama de », a.k.a. the Japanese version of « Let it go ». For this final, the whole audience was driven by May J.’s vocal coach. This was really interesting and very funny! Physical stretch, vocal stretch in gorilla mode, facial expression training in overreaction mode. Well prepared, we sang all-together, united, this was utterly moving! |
| Le concert était très rythmé. À toute allure, on a eu droit à un medley complet de Frozen en tant que grand hit, ainsi que les récents Maleficient et Raiponce, et les chansons cultes d’Aladdin et du Roi Lion. Plus surprenant : les thèmes du parc DisneyLand ! Un joli corner Cendrillon, conté tel un petit livre d’histoires par Kōichi Yamadera décidément talentueux comme seiyū, et ponctué de chants avec tout l’orchestre.
Vraiment un beau moment enchanteur et enjoué. La magie de Disney a quelque chose d’encore plus mignon au Japon. |
The concert was well paced. At full speed, we heard a full medley of Frozen – a huge hit in Japan – songs from the recent Maleficient and Rapunzel, and famous songs from Aladdin and The Lion King. More surprising: DisneyLand park themes were also played! We also enjoyed a beautiful Cinderella corner, with the story told like a story book by Kōichi Yamadera, definitely talented as seiyū, and punctuated by songs with full orchestra.
This was truly a beautiful moment, enchanting and joyful. Disney’s magic has something even cuter in Japan. |
