京都の紅葉の始まり ~ Beginning of Kōyō in Kyōto

紅葉を楽しむためには、京都ほどいい所はないということです。

実は、今京都に出張しています。そのついでに、ちょっと観光しようと思いました。

でも前に、もうお寺や神社にお参りしたことがあるんです。
それに、最近、ランニングが好きになってきたので、鴨川沿いをランニングすることにしました！

そういうことを夫の京都出身の同僚に話したら、その人に「地元の人は走りません。みんな歩くはずですよ。」と言われました。

いすから落ちるほどびっくりしました、といっても、彼の話は間違っているわけじゃないです。

今朝、鴨川の周りでほとんどみんな歩いたり犬を散歩したりゆっくり釣りしたりしていました。
ランナーもいましたが、東京のに比べて、速いランナーの数は少ないと感じました。
それにしても雰囲気が良かったです〜

いつもに比べて、私はゆっくりジョギングしながら、美しい景色の写真を取りました。

最近、日本人のように紅葉の始まりに感動するようになりました。
フランス北西部の人にとって、秋といえば雨と憂愁のイメージですが…
日本の文化で大好きなのは自然を眺めながら人生の各瞬間を大切にすることです。

これが日本の生活が好きな理由の一つです♡

Even if I came in Kyōto for business travel, I really wanted to visit. I already knew the shrine and temple aspects of Kyōto. But to explore a new facet of the city, and as I really like running these days, I decided to run around Kamogawa surroundings.

When I talked about this project to one of my husband’s colleagues, native from Kyōto, he told me that the inhabitants walk, but do not run. This really surprised me.

And in fact, he was quite true. This morning, when I went running, I saw people walking, cycling, walking their dog or fishing. Compared to Tōkyō, there were less speed runners. But I really appreciated this atmosphere. While running, I often stopped just to take pictures of gorgeous landscapes.

Kōyō has just begun, and like the Japanese, this really moves me. While, in France, Fall means rain and melancholia, the way the Japanese enjoy this season is great. I love the Japanese culture, which treasures every life moment through the contemplation of nature. That is why, among all, I love the life in Japan!
